Zen at work

Zen tradition has dozens of generations experience in teaching and practising intensive meditation. It has been used to inquire and face the great questions of life. You may use meditation techniques at work too,  to create flow, to inquire unknown, and to manage anxiety.

When you return to the principal task, again and again, the concentration builds and the work proceeds. There will be Flow. By time the Flow deepens and happens more often.

Gradually there will be wondering and questioning. What is really going on? What should we really do? Why this way? There will be learning and innovation. Meditation helps you concentrate to an important question, you can weigh the choices with your full being. A relaxed and awake person makes better decisions.

How to deal with anxiety, fear and pressure in a productive way? Making sense helps. Acting helps. Meditation helps too. It has long term effects, and gives tools for immediate situation.

After a short introduction we will do a 25 min meditation exercise. After the exercise there is room for questions. Based on this introduction you may start your own regular practice.

You may join the session only at the beginning so that you get the instructions. You can leave any time, but please not during the meditation.
